All you need to do is find a replacement for the flapper in your nearest home improvement store.

If your showerhead is leaking, it’s probably because it isn’t properly secured to the shower stem. Tighten the showerhead and for extra security, add Teflon tape in the area where the showerhead is attached to the stem.

A leaky faucet is often caused by a deteriorated washer, O-ring or gasket. The best way to fix this problem is to replace these components, but be sure to know the brand of your faucet before you look for a replacement.

Start the new year off by cleaning up your garbage disposal. Pour a mixture of baking soda and vinegar in the disposal, let it sit for 5 minutes then follow it up with cold running water. In addition, make sure you refrain from putting items such as grease, large animal bones, coffee grounds and eggshells down the disposal.

Prevent your drains from clogging up in 2020 by refraining from putting items down the drain that do not belong there.
